Cecily Smith

Bio

Cecily Smith is an actor, director, certified intimacy coordinator, acting coach, and arts educator. She has performed on stages and in film across the United States and Canada. Some of her most notable roles include Anne Harvie in Taking Liberties (Taking Liberties Collective, Campbell House Museum, Toronto), Fiona in Little Angels (Alumnae Theatre Company, Toronto), Carol in Oleanna (The Janus Project, Cincinnati, Ohio), Marian in The Edible Woman (Festival of New Works, Ann Arbor, Michigan), Nan/Lina in Three Days of Rain (The Chance Theatre Company, Anaheim Hills, California), Marie in Search and Destroy (Rude Guerilla Theatre Company, Santa Ana, California), Lady Di in Brentwood Blondes (Los Angeles, California) and (film) Sarah in Blood Proposal and August Dempsey in Fear Thy Neighbor, Season 7. She holds a BFA in theatre performance from Miami University and is a recently certified stage and film combatant with the Academy of Fight Directors Canada. Cecily has trained and worked extensively as an intimacy director for theatre and an intimacy coordinator for film.
